ERATH
2005
Pinot noir
Pinot noir
Oregon
--------------------------------------------------
Bright, fresh fruit aromas of cherry, raspberry, and blueberry fill the glass. Youthfully exuberant with lots of sweet fruit on the palate with hints of spice and vanilla.
Oregon Pinot Noir is carefully blended each year to deliver a consistent high-quality wine in a "fruit-forward" style that complements a wide range of foods.
Erath Vineyards is located in the Dundee Hills AVA. Noted for its red basaltic soils, the Dundee Hills area, situated in the northen Willamatte Valley, is one of the best places in the world for growing Pinot Noir.

Dick Erath is one of the original wine pioneers of Oregon. His story alone could fill up a book - and in fact it does The Boys Up North - Dick Erath and the Early Oregon Wine. As a home winemaker in San Francisco, Dick first fell in love with Pinot Noir when he tasted some old French Burgundies.

Au menu Samedi 17 Fevrier: Pot-roasted young chicken agro dolce.
Recette de Jamie Oliver
This is a fantastic dish with a very delicate agro dolce flavour (sweet and sour) and there's something so comforting, deep and dark about it, it just wants to be eaten in the colder months of the year!
Have a look at this blog for the recipe
